A city rich in history and a heritage to discover during your walks ...

Paimpol, a city rich in history

Paimpol is famous for being one of the major fishing ports in Iceland at the start of the 20th century.

We welcome you to Ker Alinec, a house built in 1865 by a Ploubazlanec shipowner for one of his officer sons in the "Royale". The house at the time was built opposite the marsh which, before the construction of the Duguay Trouin quay, served as a grounding area for schooners. In 1905 the marsh was filled to install the railway and the station.

The house has changed owners several times, becoming in turn: holiday home, studios, guest rooms and painting gallery, to become again in 2017 guest rooms where we welcome you.

This residence is ideally located 200 m from the port and 300 m from the historic center of Paimpol. The station is only 100 m away (TGV line Paris / Brest with connection to Guingamp for Paimpol).

From here you can shine and discover the whole country of Trégor and Goélo from Saint-Brieuc to Morlaix, its 180 km of shore will make you discover all that Brittany can offer: seaside resorts, beaches, ports, cliffs, islands…
